Street Twin Question?

clutch is in and drives good, and grabs like hell. but when i start the car the clutch kind of whines until the motor turns over. almost sounds like a blower starting. like the disc's rub for a second and then stop. just wondering if it will always do this or just when new or if it is not supposed to at all.

GM sells the shims btw, you're supposed to cut them in half when you put them in. They came on the corvettes.

thanks, now i just need to adjust the peddle a bit again and it will all be done. didnt take as long as i thought either. started at
2pm on thurs day worked till 8 then from about 11:00 till 8 on friday . always takes longer put it backin. its a b!tch to line up the tranny and putting in a new pilot bushing was a pain in the a$$. didnt think it was to bad for having only taken the tranny out once before. it took me 5 1/2 hours last time to get the tranny out and this time it only took me 3 1/2

my tranny dropped out in 30 minutes but then again .. i had no heads on the motor

mark these words: "The street twin will find the next weakest link in ur drivetrain really fast" ..

so be prepared to break something very soon specially that barbie sized 10 bolt of urs
