Steel Street Twin + 4.10s + DRs = spin
Is it just me or is it a lot harder to launch on drag radials with a Street Twin than with the stock clutch? Ever since I got a Street Twin in my car I've had a hard time breaking a 1.90 short time and even that is relatively rare. I used to pull 1.85s pretty often with my stock clutch. The ST just hits so hard that I seem to either bog or spin.
I'm switching to ET Streets, so I think that will solve the problem, but I was just wondering if others have had a similar experience with launching on a grabby clutch with DRs and an M6.

It's probably not the clutch, but the flywheel. Aftermarket steel flywheels are usually 30 lbs. On my 3rd gen, that was 7 lbs. heavier than stock. The momentum from the extra weight keeps the engine from bogging. Once you get the sticky ET Street tires, you'll like it. It will leave harder and have less rpm drop on a gear change, which means better elapsed times.
