Yup mine makes a thwakedy thwakedy noises but ive heard soooooooo many stories about it being this and it being that , fact is its an alluminum block and it has alluminum heads which let you hear everything , I could go on and on , I have heard of ZERO ls1 piston slap cases that actually cause any premature wear . I woudnt change this motor for anything in the world , smooth as silk , revs like a bitch and puts down crazy power .

when i race at the track i run 89 chevron, but it can go fine on 87 never use it though cuz its the bare min.

Yeah, I have the same piston slap as Twitch. Little bit of valvetrain noise thrown in there, noisy belts, synthetic 5w30 oil, aluminum block and heads, it all adds up to more noise. That just ups the reason for getting LTs... Hide it with exhaust.
