Interesting feedback, I figure only the two Mikes should be runniing 94, mike p and mike s, I thought you guys would be running 89 when the prices are really high and 92 when there not so high.

If you drive like a granny, then you might use cheaper gas and never know the difference - but who drives like that? In the whole scheme of things, the cost savings is COMLETELY insignificant in my opinion.
Some LS1 years are better too than other years for handling different octanes (at least it SEEMS to be that way), depending on the programming from the factory. Later years are supposedly not as good with lower octane. But, I've never seen this firsthand.
Honestly, I don't know how much of a diff it would make on the dyno or mileage - but if you have any form of a ported intake, or anything else that advances the timing, then 94 is a safe choice.
