I don;t think that there is a legitimate 100% proven f-body engine builder in BC.
In all honesty what is so diff about a LT1 versus a normal traditional sbc minus reverse cooling? I would have full confidence in Richmond to build almost any motor for the power needs most want. Did richmond build this motor not that i know of though.
Matt,
You have not earned an applogy nor will one come. The reason I lit into you is there is no reason to say to an extremily nice person, who is having some problems, "i told you so i told you so" when something goes bad. Rather than you trying to demean someone why not try to bite your lip a lil and help him out rather than step on his throat when something happens. (by the way you have a pm now)

I am now done with this thread I will take all off the board now. Shaun like I said if you need help send me email.

Well hey, people should listen, but as to helping Shaun, I already called him up & offered my help & I think I figured out why his engine went south, but I still will mention the "I told you so" because I did, & not just did, I insisted on it, it seems I'm the only person in the whole world that remembers the bad things people do, everyone always forgets things & moves on, why? Is that the way you learn?

Anywho, that was a very thoughtful PM, I sent you one too.

No difference as far as I know, it is just that no matter who I talk to the motor can be anything but the computers on our cars throws everything out of wack. Yes Richmond built this motor and I have confidence that he can bild probably anything as well. In fact I am confident in the motor he built for me.

Matt i really sugest you learn how to speak appropriately. At the moment your attitude and your personality on this board is really starting to annoy me and you honestly dont want me to voice my opinion. From my memory you have asked me many a dumb thing in the past, last thing i remember was calling you a idiot for asking me. So tone it down and i suggest you go back and clean up some of your previos posts.

Later
Mike

hey Cory. Well though I'm encouraged to hear your thoughts on the overheating issue, I still have an ugly oil burning problem as you know.

Can ANYTHING be done to improve things? I pulled the plugs and I'm going to take them to Terry to look at (at his request).

Also, the car is running rough. It was running really good and then all of a sudden its running lean. All the cylinders are hot so maybe a spark issue.

Are you free on the weekend.

PS: Matt has been a great help and given me lots of his time and I thank him for that. I also know his typed word is worse then his verbal bite. That being said, the manner in which you choose to communicate on the boards does show a lack of compassion and appears arrogant. I don't think that really is who you are so just think about it.

With respect to using Terry for this rebuild. As some of you know I was painted into a corner in that regard. We'll see, I have no idea what is the core reason for the oil problem.

That was Perry's but he doesn't have blackouts. It would have been going up 152nd or 156th

He was using a front pickup point tow truck in a rwd Hope the driveshaft was out

Shaun it spiked all of a sudden.. Did you get into boost or did it do anything else right before the spike. You were not data logging by chance were you?
