thus in turn causing the oil burning....

the best thing to do on your next motor, anything past 190* zero out the timing/fuel table which ever so this doesn't happen, than buy an electric water pump so it'll keep running when the enigne shuts off
if you want call me Shaun, I tried getting a hold of you but couldn't.

.... Im speechless Shaun. I will call you after work tommorow. I am not too confident that overheating it caused ring problems. In fact I have a real hard time believeing that. Reason being that you have what is in all reality a race engine which is meant to run with 20+psi of coolant pressure. You still have 13-15psi cap on the rad which will puke pretty early giving you enough warning to shut down. I dont think taking that car up to 210degrees for a few seconds wiped out the rings. Not at all. I dont think you did anything to damage the rings. The excess fuel did not help, but I dont think it polished them. Please try to find out what rings went into it for me if you can tommorow. As for Bunker..... who helped your whining *** when your rear end went? I seem to remember someone saying "I dont know this kind of S***" about your rear end a few times in as many minutes... oh wait..... yup, it was you. Ill have to remember this post next time you want some help.

Umm.. you F*Ckn retards, I never said I do my own work you F*ck nuts, why don't you check who did & shut the F*CK up, I can put an engine together once all the balancing/engine work was done but I wouldn't & I never said I did. I want appologies now! Rear ends? I don't know anything about rear ends or trannies, but engines/pcm's are my thing & I'll brag all I want which I didn't it was 93Formula who said I do all my own work.

No offense Matt, when you talk about cars I do listen to what you have to say. I defintley agree that your opinions are valid. And you do know what you are talking about, most of the time
However, before you start bashing local shops, you should really think about who is saying what and why. The reason I'm saying this is that it is easier to blame the shops than it is to blame yourself. I'm not saying this is what Shaun is doing but it was what I was going to do with Richmond. Richmond built me a strong motor, it wasn't what I thought I was getting. I blame that on my self, why?, because I got to excited about getting my motor rebuilt that I didn;t ask the questions that I should have. Also there are alot of shops out there and alot of them operate word of mouth. Without further investigation, you don't know what you are getting yourself into. So it is easy toi make mistakes. Personally I go to places where people say nothing but good things about. As well, considering what I know about these cars, or lack of, I like to go to shops that will understand that not everyone knows motors and specs inside out but know enough to understand what is being done to their motors.
Hindsight is always 20/20 and everyone will ALWAYS make mistakes. It is the only way we learn. Ricmond knows his stuff, which is why he gets business. He's proven himself, and he gets paid for it. I will admit one thing though, I don;t think that there is a legitimate 100% proven f-body engine builder in BC. Correct me if I'm wrong.
I'd say that rashpual has proven himself as the #1 5.0L engine builder around these parts, but he can't compete with the boys in the states. That is just plain logistics.
So, we all need to calm down and instead turn this negative energy into helping out shaun.
