Stock for Stock: an LT1 will be very close with the older 360hp Lightening
the newer 385hp Lightening may edge out a stock LT1????

Re: lighting vs lt-1

Gen 1 lightnings are slow......Gen 2 lightnings are respectable to all car lovers. My lightning is stock down to the paper air filter and I ran those times. I am probably not going to mod it...The thought of adding more boost just not seem safe to me. Do not get me wrong...I love F bods (I have one ) but I just love the way this truck looks and handles. The lines of the truck just mesh together nicely.

Dude I love the Lightnings too . .. Im in the market for a mini van of all things and If I could pull some money out my *** a lightning would be the pimp'tist of delivery trucks

Gas consumptions pushing me towards a honda odessey van thought

Doesnt change the fact your trapping 100 mph . . . . still slow for most the peeps in the PNWR .

Re: lighting vs lt-1

These times were done when it is NASTY HUMID in the south....Talking about 85-95 degree weather with 100% humidity. I wish I was up north with you guys....I then could pull better trap times. You would be surprised at the amount of fuel I use. Just cruising to and from work (66 miles round trip) 5 days a week, I burn a little less than 3/4 of a tank. Not as good as the van you are getting, but still damn good for a High Horsepower, 2 ton, aerodynamics of a brick, truck
