well ur obviously clueless about what ur talkin about andrew

when u have enough tire, u dont need drag suspension .. my car has TOO much tire .. that drag suspension is doing nothing but hurting me by wasting energy in pulling wheelies and causing my car to bog

do u see ANY of the fast cars with drag suspension ? nope .. none .. next time go check out rash or dons suspension . its tighter than a 20 year old virgin

thats the dumbest thing ive heard lol they are all out racing suspension full out drag, they just got proper springs for their application but they are still drag springs and shocks. its all about application, you need a spring that will hold against 1300+hp its all about chassis design and optimal weight transfer and optimal traction

jason ..

they are just really really stiff drag shocks and springs ... do u see ANY body movement when don or glen launch ? nope .. why not ? partly due to the wheele bars .. but mostly because their suspension doesnt NEED to travel at all ... why ? cuz they got enough tire to back up their HP .. pulling wheelies and suspension travel just wastes energy .. if u cant spin ur tires, u need to STIFFEN up ur suspension .. go ask ANY racer ...

and hey .. if u wanna call me dumb .. well it'll be such a shamefull awakening to lose to a such a dumb person over and over all season (specially if this dumb person has a street suspension with 10.5w tires )

boy you sure are doing a LOT of talking on all the boards ... if u cant back up any of these statements u gonna be the laughing stock of EVERY ONE

i said that was the dumbest thing ive heard not your DUMB. i know quite alot about drag suspension. and i know how racing chassis work. im not going to get into an argument on it here. stiff road handling suspension is way different then stiff drag suspension in a 1300hp car, and if you think those guys dont have traction issues, then i just dont know what your thinking. as for me talking dont you worry ill have plenty to bring to the table next year. no more stock for me. my mildly cammed and intaked stock motor will be the least of the worries of next year. and where im going i wont need nos to make me look fast besides dont get too mad over the situation im just turning up the heat a bit under your feet

I'm not going to read the last few posts...too long. The old saying goes, as quoted by Warren Johnson (Payam, do some research as to who this is) "you can NEVER have too much tire..." Just look at all the fully tubbed bracket cars out there. The reason that a 7sec car looks different from an 11sec car is suspension limiters, amoung other things. Its like comparing apples to oranges.

Andy there is an issue of HP that comes into play, if you can't spin your tires without suspension, then if you put suspension on you'll be hurting your self by wasting all that energy into pulling whillies, its a simple energy conversion factor, & imagine how much energy & TRACTION you are loosing when those front tires hit the ground again? Yeah something to think about.
