Help finding car in Vancouver?
Hi there everyone. I live on Vancouver Island and due to a wreck I found myself in the middle of a few weeks ago, I have no car. Due to financial oddities, I also find myself unable to secure financing for a new car, so I have to find something with the money I have. I am hoping to find a early 70's or late 70's/early 80's Z28 with a 350 and a 4 or 5 speed manual to keep the dream alive. Anyone have access to a Van Sun or something that might have a few moments of time to feed me info on classifieds or know of someone with a car that falls into this category? I have about $3-4k to spend.... any help or pointers appreciated. The available Z28's over here on the island are very weak, so I am now hoping to expand my search across the water to your area.... thank you in advance.
Classifieds can be viewed online for almost any major Canadian newspaper: www.canada.com
Also, go to canadatrader.com, buysell.com, autotrader.com, and ebay.com if you need some referencing data upon which to base your decision.
Good luck

and is now in the hands of Canadian Northern Shield insurance company. I do not know what they do with these things under the circumstances. The front end of the car was totally and completely mashed due to some idiot in a 1/2 ton pickup truck pulling out in front of me magically without checking to see if the road was clear....
Sorry I can't help you more than that...
