aha!! pretty much the same thing. Different placement of the sensor that's all. And not as ghetto as my cigarette aluminum patch up. Plus u had the daytimes disabled.

TA guys: I want to disable my daylight running lights. In other words, the orange side lights.

I have no problem with the automatic popup lights, in fact I think it is a great feature, but I want to have the orange side lights only come on when the headlights are on.

Anyone know how to do that?

 

you could probably run them with a switch like you would rad fans if you want.

I have the exact same problem. At first the passenger side light wouldn't pop up until I turned the light switch on/off several times. Now the light always pops up, but the motor keeps running with an awful sound when I turn the lights off. Also, when I press the lock button on the remote the lights flip up, then go down with the right one wailing away for 10 seconds or so

The weird thing is I very rarely drive this car at night.

 

THATS THE MOST HORRIBLE SOUND IN THE WORLD TO ME IGHT NOW . I did the unplug mod and fixed er right up Im still waiting on my brass gears , ordered them about three weeks ago . I hope they didnt get lost .

 

My neighbours firebird (V6) does the same thing. BRRRRRrRRRRRrrRRRrRRRrrRTtttttttTTT!! Damn that's annoying. I wonder how many problems Vettes have. I assume its the same gear driven motor?
