I was trying to open my glove compartment and I pulled it hard enough for the latch to pop up and open the glove compartment.. The latch doesn't appear broken.. It just won't close now meaning I can't close my glove compartment either

 

The factory manual shows that the latch is held to the back of the door by 3 (or 4) screws. Probably need to take the latch off and see if something is broken inside. Be careful.... might be a spring in there that will fly out and get lost.
