Also note that Thunderacing did a test and they lost 17rwhp at 7k rpm going from 3.42s to 4.10's.

Re: finally got around to taking a sound clip

I dunno if I told this to almost all of you? I race the dyno, thats what really counts because thats how your engine is doing, I still have higher HP numbers and thats all that matters to me, I don't get upset over the rest considering the other car had like 200 lb less then me what can you do? The point is I have the strongest LT1 NA stock bottom end locally from anyone, and I doubt anyone can match my numbers, sorry

The LS1 is a better engine, and I'm sure if I had an LS1 I would make sure I'm the baddest and fastest, right now I want to be the baddest and fastest LT1, why bother competing with superior engines like the LS1? Then its not fun anymore, I know that no matter how much I try if the LS1 gets as many mods as me there is no chance for me, but the day another LT1 350 beats me, well that day will never come

Even if I killed Twich like if I was in the stage I am right now tuned and with a few more goodies under the hood like Ti retainers etc... I still wouldn't be happy cuz I know if Twitch just went out and got some heads, well cya later for me. Now if someone gets my cam and LT1 heads ported or even LT4, I highly doubt they would take me cuz I try the best to make sure everything is perfect on my LT1.

I mean I only put like 30 lt1s together and took mine apart about 8 times just cuz something wasn't exactly right.

Glad you know where your place is in the LS1 versus LT1 world matt. Submissive.

j/k

I love it when bunker gets defensive. He ends up wiith the longest posts.

In some senses, its run what you brung. But on the other hand, its the same as a LS1 f-body going against a z06 or a new LS2. Mod for mod, the LS1 is going to have a harder time versus either due to either weight or hp advantages. Fortunately there aren't too many of either around - yet - but when there are, then the LS1 will be playng catch up to the LS2.

Kind of looking forward to it really.

PS. Love JD's sig - spoken like a good old stalled A4!

LOL yeah that is what its all about, and as long as you are squeezing every bit of power out of your powerplant, that is all the matters cuz its fun, engines are starting to become like computers, new designs comming out too often to say "here is my engine it'll eat anything" like it used to be, you know, all small blocks were generally the same, not anymore.

I think that pulley should stay in the box this year until I find out what went wrong. And when I do increase boost, it won't be on those injectors or fuel pump. I think 60lb injectors and dual fuel pumps will be enough for what I have planned

Re: finally got around to taking a sound clip

Yeah warranty is there so you can kill your car and get as much things fixed before you have to pay for it out of your pocket Put the pulley back on

Chris I knew you would appreciate that I have enough traction and jump out of the hole to get away although the lack of power allows people to make most of that up so I may have to add some more goodies this spring....Although I will have to get use to the new converter as well...
