That sounds good to me. Headers will definitely make it louder. Of course it will also amplify all the valvetrain noise too, which will suck. Throw a cutout on and that will get attention.

Was that done outside or in a parkade? That can change the overall sound.

HAHAHA The roads here are perfect for doing that kind of stuff. It's like driving through Chilliwack except everyone does 110 minimum and roads are 8 lanes wide

Re: finally got around to taking a sound clip

Yeah with about 200 lb in weight reduction and not spinnig all the time sure. However, It think I remember dynoing quite a bit higher, do you remember now ? thats right. Ohh wait, I was running 11.9 A/f with 405rwhp and twitch 376rwhp with 12.9 A/F if I recall and 3.42 gears which prolly offer another 10rwhp over 4.10's. Plus if I see correctly I swear I am gaining pretty fast, its not my fault you and the mustang always wanted to race from a low speed roll so that I would spin and you guys wouldn't, then when I start to catch up, Ohh brake lights.

Mods since, properly tuned and running 12.6-12.8 a/f through RPM, difference felt? BIG TIME! And titanium retainers, WOT feel past 6k RPM = BIG IMPROVEMENT!

about 200 LB heavier and prolly around 420rwhp now, yeah I'd say you have a problem.

Thing is, my setup with a cc305 would make about 385rwhp or so, after that HP is hard to make and you sacrifice aircare + drivability for about 40rwhp.

Re: finally got around to taking a sound clip

Dude I was running 11.9 A/F, as a tunner I know that can yield a lot of HP, and even if it was 389, thats still shy of 405

No I didn't get in front of you, cuz when I started to creep you would slam on your brakes, I admit it was a damb slow pull and would take forever to catch up but it was a pull, and because you weigh a lot less ie. hood, no airbad and God knows what else you took off a 15rwhp advantage which it was at the time would not be enough considering you would always go in front immediately because I would spin with my 4.10's.

Also note that Thunderacing did a test and they lost 17rwhp at 7k rpm going from 3.42s to 4.10's.

But yes LS1 does rule consdering, I was still more powerfull and now that I'm tuned I''m considerably more powerfull then you were, I'm thinking I'm at 420rwhp now, but considering how much work I did, although impressive in the LT1 world, that much work on an LS1 you'd be at 460rwhp and less weigh, remember LS1's are alluminum block that weigh less there too.
