ok that makes more sense it caused a reversion effect pushing the exhaust back up the intake. gonna be some black stuff in there

still a valve train problem though
what do you think would of caused it.

 

Well aparently oliver wasn't completely honest, he over reved & the let the gas go instead of pushing the clutch in which would bend a pushrod a lot of times & stretch some rods at times

 

lesson to all, when doing a cam just do the whole valve train
maybe with what happened it wouldnt have helped though.

hehe thanx, 4501 now but yeah no my pushrods are Hi-Tech Comp chromoly style, their crazy stuff

 

you have the same pushrods i am getting with my cam swap this winter. i was talking about ollie though i dont think he changed his lifters or his pushrods and correct me if im wrong but 94 was the last yr with hardened pushrods stock.
