I just got a z/28 anniversary car and trying to put the appearance back to stock as much I can. Is there any way to know what hood should have been on it?

Will a 98 headliner work in my 97?

 

Here's a photo of a 1997 Z28 with the Z4C 30th Anniversary Edition package, with the correct Hugger Orange stripes on the hood. Note also other pictures. There is no decal on the sail panel.

Have you verified the Z4C code is on the Service Parts label?

 

I have checked the rpo code and it is there but it is like some did some swapping parts like the rear spoiler appears to be like one on a ss.

 

I think the headliners for a T-top will physically interchange between years. The main difference would be the colors offered from year to year. An 30th Anniversary car would have a 10I interior (Artic White), so the headliner would gray. The parts manual shows this as specific to the 1997 model. The only other colors available in 97 were neutral and pewter.

 

I am just looking to get me by til I can actually restore the car. If the color is a little off it’s ok.
