I recently bought a ‘95 Z28, great condition with only 50K miles on it. I’m new to the whole car scene, so I’ve been learning as I go. I’m trying to figure out what I’m working with here; everything is stock on the car except for the exhaust, at least I think. The tips don’t look like any of the stock tips I’ve seen on this car, and without any brand names anywhere on them, I can’t tell what they might be. Can anyone help me with this?
Configuration of the muffler - crossflow, single in/dual out in stock location - is either the stock stainless muffler, or an aftermarket replica. Looks like someone cut the stock rectangular tips off, and replaced them with aftermarket tips from the local auto parts store. Difficult to tell, because the stock tips are offset to one side to compensate for the non-symmetrical stock exhaust pipes.
