New in MO, Gotta question?

Hello there, I just bought a 97 Z-28, I also have a 68 454 4-sp(Munci rock crusher), and a 69 (plain jane) with 28k original miles (moms old car). My question is the 97 is a 30th ltd edition white w/orange stripes (bought for my son who will be 16 in July) this thing has the 30th anv. logo decal across the back window and its huge. I have never seen this on another car. It looks like its been on the car from the get go, colors are starting to fade and edges starting to peel. Any ideas if this window decal is a factory or dealer install? Or just someone made a decal and put it on. Its a direct replica of the logo embossed on the seats. I cant find any thing any where on this, thought another camaro nut, besides me might know. I am more into the first gen cars. Thanks, Nice site

no decals are put in the back windows of new cars due to the fact that it blocks your site from the rear view mirror, so i would have to say that was done after it was bought new. i had a decal put in the back window of my 2002 camaro, that is design like the 30th annv. emblem but has a 35th instead of the 30th.
