New member 97 SS

Hello everyone, my names Cody and this is actually my first time on any kind of forum and figured it would be the best place for me to learn all I can about my car and other Camaros as well. About a year ago I was given an amazing deal by a family friend and picked up an automatic, 1997 Camaro SS. It’s completely original, still have window sticker and documentation. The only “mod” I have done to the car is take off the z28 rectangle exhaust and replaced it with SLP resonators with the quad tips. After breaking it in for a while I decided to have the car dyno tested just to see what kind of numbers a 20 plus year old car was making and I was surprised to see 263.7 rwhp and 291.5 rwtq. Haven’t really established if that’s poor, average, or good for this make and model and I will upload pictures and videos of the car as I learn to navigate this site.
Look forward to meeting all of you.
best-
cody

Welcome to CamaroZ28.com ! ! !

Good looking ride, and appears to be in healthy condition. Appears to be well taken care of. Very good numbers for an auto trans SS.

One thing we like to suggest is that you set up a "signature" with basic info about your car. Helps us answer your questions.
