Is there any way to incorporate a member to member chat like Facebook has?

Is there any way to incorporate a member to member chat like Facebook has?
Since we have friend lists now that would be a cool addition. If you're unfamiliar with Facebook, it shows when your friends are online and you can click their name and chat with them in real time.

sounds like a good idea

it would also be cool to be able to click the green circle under the avatar to chat with them also.

I have heard of it being done, but it was pretty hacked up and didn't work well.

We have a chat room, donchya know.

Most of my CZ28 friends that I talk to privately I either have their number and/or AIM screenname.

Yeah, the chat room isn't exactly private. And you've obviously missed the point of my question. Having a built in interface between two members gets rid of the need to use an external app.
