Hi, I'm a new member. I retired in 2014 and immediately had another midlife crises. I bought what I thought was a great looking 1995 Camaro Z28 convertible. I soon discovered that this was not the model year Camaro to try to restore and the car looked a lot better than it was. Too late I was already into the car for too much money , problem was I still love the car. I owned a 1969 SS when I was much younger and never got over selling it. I still have a few problems with the car, hope to get some help with that from this site. 1.The interior courtesy lights don't shut off when you close the door's, thinking it may be the RAP module. 2. The car randomly misfires and goes dead (the check engine lite comes on when it happens and the engine goes dead), turn the ignition off and try to start it won't start just turns over and over, it will usually start after 10-15 minutes with no check lights, (it just resets itself) Working on GM's is a lot different now than in the 1960's-70's.
