i really need help, i bought my car and on the way home the fuel pump went out i replaced it by making a door in the trunk thanks to yalls help but now its running really ruough and likes to back fire i checked the plugs and wires they look good the ses light is stuck on and when your driving it flashes. lots of black smoke. when you drive it, it runs good as long as your giving it the gas but when you try to cruse at one speed it jumps all over im lost on what to look at thanks. 96 camaro lt1 six speed 128000miles

As for your questions. Scan the computer for the codes would be the first thing I would do then go from there
