Howdy from Texas

Hey guys, new guy here. I've been a lurker for a few years and decided to go ahead and sign up since I've been seeing some parts in the classifieds I was interested in. I have a '97 Formula, bone stock down to the paper filter except for a hooker catback. I've been a member on s10forums.com and 67-72chevytrucks.com for a long time. I wrecked the ls1 s10 last year and sold the '71 C10 recently. I already regret selling that truck but I just lost interest. The bird is the only one that's held it consistently. I live just North of Galveston and am definitely in for some meets and cruises. I'm expecting my first child in July so I've been gathering parts to finish the car before then (but are they ever really finished?). Anyway, looks like a good group of knowledgable people. Thanks for having me.

Welcome to the club! Congatz on the baby and on your purchase! Don't forget to post some pics of the car and update us on all the things you plan on doing to it along the way.
