Lightbulb Who knows about Air/Fuel mixtures ?

Howdy !!

I had the car dynoed last Saturday - can't say I was pleased w/ the results, though.

293 RWHP - the only good thing I can say is that I have a 2800 stall & the mechanic running the dyno even commented on how a stall robs HP's. Note also that this is with the HPP3 Non-RFG tuning installed and the fans are optimized for the factory 195 stat.

In any case, the A/F starts out @ ~ 14.2 @ 3600 RPM & drops down to around 12.3 by 4800 RPM - a nice downward slope.

Is this normal ??

A buddy of mine was saying that's what the Hypertech does, but I would have thought that a fatter mixture (up to a point) would have produced more HP's.

Hope someobe can help !!

Thanks !

Britt

Your car basiclly starts off really lean then gets really rich.

Id prolly try the hypertech with NO tuning and redyno.
