Zex Wet ?????
A friend wants to sell me a wet kit for $400 this sound like a good deal what do you guys think of the system? Are they worth the money or should I save for a Nx or another Kit.
Also the kit came off of a Mustang will it still work? I am planning on calling ZEX to see but they will not open till tues.

the mustang kit will not work, they have shorter lines, the lt1 engine compartment is cramped as it is so the zex lt1 wet kit comes with much longer braided lines to do the install, i am selling a brand new zex wet kit still in the box, part# 82023 for the LT1, and i had the bottle filled so thats alreadytaken care of, if you are interested in this kit let me know and we can work a deal,
Check and see if it's the universal kit. If it is, then it will work. $400 is a fair deal if it is well taken care of. The solenoids are good for a 175shot. They are real easy to hook up as well. I've had mine for 6-7 months and sprayed 50, 75, 100, 125, and 150 with mine numerous times with no problems. Have fun and don't let it go lean.
steelheart can you check the length of the line that runs from the fuel rail to the ZEX box so we can check to see if they are different or not.
juiced-lt1 where did you mount everything having a hard time finding room.
Also does anybody know if the kit is unversal?

super slow, the line from the fuel rail is 40 inches, the line from the bottle to get to the solonoids is 16 feet long, about a foot longer than most kits for mounting since the lt1 is in a tight compartment, and the lines out of the NMU box are longer to reach the elbow going to the tb for the nozzle, i guess it could be a universal kit but mine is part# 82023 for the lt1 with the longer lines so fitment is not an issue, and mounting the nmu most lt1 cars mount them next to the air box, let me know if you want my kit, i can get pics out to you...
I mounted the bottle where the t-tops are located, stuck the NMU under the two cooling fans by the radiator (flush up against the radiator almost, i have some pics of how i did it below), and ran the lines up to the bend in the elbow so it's all pretty well hidden. Please excuse the rust, the guy before me daily drove it in the snow =/ .

juiced_lt1 got the pics to work so dont worry about e-mailing them. Also how long is your fuel supply line? I would think it would be pretty long considering where it has to hook up at.
I tee'd into the main line as close as I could get to the front. The fuel pressure is exactly the same at the schrader valve on the fuel pressure regulator as it is throughout the entire main line since we have a bleed-off system, so you can tap into the main line wherever you want. The fuel line is around 2' 6" long I'd guess, I wouldn't go any longer than that though.
