Zex dry question

OK. I recently bought a Zex dry kit for super cheap, and I've got a few questions. First, how exactly does the NMU work? Why does it need vacuum lines and such hooked up to it? Would it operate without those lines hooked up? I was pretty much given this unit and want to use it as a purge for my current set-up. I have all those fittings and hosing to set it up as a purge, but was wondering if these other connections are necessary if I just want to use it to clear my line.

The NMU uses the TPS to trigger the nitrous flow, so I am not sure how you could get that to work with a push button.
The vacuum lines could be eliminated for your purpose.

Just sell me your zex box, I could use a spare, and get a purge.

Make m an offer and I might. I'm thinking about tearing it apart in a few minutes to "experiment", so you better hurry :P
