Looks good 2000GTP, I'd be interested in seeing your car in person sometime as we are only a few miles apart. How does the car run at the track?

To be truthful, I am not the biggest fan of the dual nozzle setup. As you can see, there is more plumbing involved and it is harder to keep a completely hidden and neat appearance.

I've yet to run it at the track. Maybe this season though, I plan on picking up some M/T radials here pretty soon.

I have a set that I'm currently not using ...unfortunately, so you're welcome to "try" them out sometime.

lol... I think it may be the plate that says NITROUS OUTLET that keeps it from being "completely hidden"... lol

Just don't pop your hood... although if a cop asks... errr... maybe hidden would be better

Yeah, maybe that was the wrong word to use. I think the point I was trying to get across was that by having the more plumbing to deal with, it was just a little harder to route things the way I wanted to. If a cop asks for me to pop the hood, I'll just say what everyone else says, "thats not mine, I don't know how that got there officer."

What size shot are you running? If it is lets say a 150 then you jet each for a 75 shot correct? What are the advantages/disadvantages of a single vs. a dual nozzle set up. I am going to put my NX kit on soon and I kind of like the idea of dual nozzles.

I have it jetted at a 100 right now, I will only go up to a 150 on the stock shortblock. The advantages of the dual nozzle are the appearance aspect and it helps in supporting larger shots. A couple disadvantages are the extra plumbing involved and you can only adjust the shots in increments of 50.

I have a question about how you mounted your nozzle in your elbow.

It looks like you used the suppplied jam nuts did it seak on the elbow good since the rubber elbow kind of acts like a gasket and how is your hood clearence.

Thanks

I have no sealiing issues, I did use a film of RTV as a sealer though. As for the hood clearance, it is tight, but it works. If I would have mounted the nozzles in a more upright position, then I probably would have had some clearance issues.

That's a lot of stainless line everywhere! Kinda looks like spaghetti

Looks good though. Possibly in the future, you could look into hardlines and run them closer together from the solenoid to the nozzles for a slightly cleaner look. Are you running multiple stages?

What are "hardlines"? There is alot of stainless line because it is a dual nozzle setup, hence the comment I made in the above post of why I wasn't a big fan of it. I can't tuck the lines together because of length characteristics and placement, trust me I have tried. I am almost considering scrapping one of the nozzles and just turning it over to a single nozzle setup, but then I am going to have to fork over the money to get another elbow and redrill that one for a single nozzle. Then again I have been eyeing the direct port setup and I do have a spare LT1 manifold lying around that could be sent out...
