Wiring questions, bought used kit w/o diagram
I bought a used compucar nitrous kit and it didn't come with a wiring diagram. I was confidant that I knew how to wire up a 30 amp relay, but somethin about this kit confused me.
The relay came with a molded female connector with wires coming out of each terminal. What's confusing me is the fact that the female connector for pin 86 has what looks like a ground wire hooked up to it, where pin 85 has 2 wires on it, brown and green....and the brown one has a slide on spade connector. I was sure pin 85 was the ground and even searched all over this forum and others and everyone said the same thing, pin 85 is ground.
Is there any reason why pin 86 would be grounded and pin 85 used for what appears to be the throttle switch?
Pin 87 has an orange wire with an inline 25 amp fuse and a short blue wire with a slide on spade connector. I plan to put the orange wire to the orange wire to the 12v acc, but what could the blue wire be for?
Pin 30 has a single red wire coming out of it, which I assume would go to the solenoids. The solenoids have 1 lead on each tied together and this red wire will go to the free lead on one solenoid, where the free lead on the other solenoid goes to ground, does this sound alright?
Final question, should I just ditch the molded connector and use spade connectors to wire it up from scratch?
Thanks
