why are platinum plugs bad for N20

I have been experiencing major probs with my zex kit. So far I have ran through one bottle with 75 shot, but I am only getting a 30 shot at best. My fuel pressure only rises 5-7 psi. and my bottle lasts forever...
Anyways I was wondering what the big deal is about running platinum plugs and N20? I understand why I need colder ranges, but since my nitrous is only giving me 30 horsepower is it necessary - also could this be contributing to my poor N20 performance? Thanx

Maybe im reading/assuming this wrong.... but please tell me you weren't using platinum plugs while spraying....

the a nitrous/fuel combustion will melt away your platinum plug tips and they will break away.. i need not explain more.

Are you running a bottle heater? If you use the nitrous on a cool night with no bottle heater, the nitrous pressure will be way too low. In other words, you'll get about 1/2 the punch you originally dialed in.
