What can I use for a sealer?

I bought a NX pressure gauge for my Nitrous Works kit and when I hooked it up there was nitrous leaking through where the gauge connects and on the silver screw opposite the gauge. What can I use to put on the threads (cuz both sides screw in) to keep it from leaking? I want something that won't be harmful for it but I am not sure what to use.

On a pipe or NPT fitting, teflon tape works well. Just keep it off the very last thread so it won't fall off into the line.

My friend said not to use tape cuz it would get in the line. Is this true? Is there anything else I can use?

Use red loctite. A little goes a long way. Never use teflon tape on any fitting unless it is a last resort.

I just use the teflon paste...works well....not a pain in the ars if you need to take things back apart like loctite would be.

red locktite is what comes with the kits, it works very good if you clean the threads with a wire brush

Yea I don't plan on taking it apart and putting it back together much so I think the locktite would be fine.
