Walbro 255/90psi Fuel pump and 5176 dry kit..

Hey Guys,
My question is.. I just installed the Walbro 255 90psi intank pump and wanted to know if I can run this pump without the NOS Fuel pump that comes from the 5176 kit?? Will this be enougth fuel pressure for the kit with the single pump? Anyone done this?

Thanks!

it should be enough. I installed that pump in a customers car w/a procharger and the car made 484 rear wheel horsepower. no other fuel pump besides that one.

I'm using the Walbro 340 with my 150 HP NOS 5176 setup. I need to hook up a fuel pressure gauge with this but everything seems fine. I did chance out to SVO injectors as the stockers were locking up.

Depends what they rate the pump flow at when the pressure is 90psi (the level required by the 5176 kit). And it depends on the total HP you are making. If you are starting with a healthy 398, and spraying 150HP, I would assume you need to support at least 650flyHP. That's about 360#/HR of fuel, or roughly 60GAL/HR or 225Liter/HR. Does the pump's flow vs psi curve support those numbers? I'd think you would want 66G/HR, 250L/HR for safety.
