Post Shark nozzle location in intake elbow?????

I was not that impressed with my first 75 shot of nitrous on my car. I think I made a mistake in where I located the nozzle. I install my nozzle about 6 inches from the throttle body. The problem is the AIT is inbetween the nozzle and the throttle body. See below.

Nozzle >>> AIT >>> Throttle Body

Where should I mount the shark nozzle to get the best results.

Hey man,
Well, unfortunately a 75 shot of nitrous isn't that impressive... one would think it would be... I have heard someone describe it as a clean k&N filter on a cold air system...

I have learned on here and on other lists that the closer you mount the nozzle to the TB the harder it will hit at the expense of spray pattern/distribution... 3-6" is supposed to be ideal.

If you want it to hit harder you can also raise the bottle pressure with a bottle warmer (stay below 1000psi tho) more bottle pressure leans out the mixture on dry kits at least.

HTH... I dynoed a supposed 75 shot (for mustangs with 19 lb injectors) for 60rwhp on our cars. It felt like it revved a little faster and more smoothly... no paste me to the back of the seat "hand of God action".

Laters,
Andrew

Yeah, Andrew is right a 75shot barely barks the tires. I have the 100shot now and I am ready for more. Going to 150 as soon as my MSD window box gets back from repair.

6-8inches is ideal

You may want to relocate the IAT to your cold air intake and then put the shark in that hole!
