Questioning ditching my 125 shot before I install it.... ---
I have been having second thoughts about my 125 zex dry shot lately. I could use some extra money for my syclone build, but patience will cure that.
My build will have (already purchased) an le2 cam and heads, eagle 3.75 stroker crank, eagle h-beams, srp .030 pistons, 58mmtb, ported intake, morels, 1.6 magnum rr's, beehives, comp titanium pushrods, electric waterpump, CAI, tune ( probably by my shop.....maybe madz28 ), jethot LT's, a cutout, new clutch, short throw, aluminum driveshaft and 4.10's (in my 10 bolt). Coil overs, rel.brackets, t. arm, p.h.bar, ta cover, and lca's are already installed. I have slp sfc's but they wont fit until I change my exhaust....thinking of front and rear sway bars. I have drilled and slotted rotors too :P. She sits on 315 17's in the rear.
I have just seen guys at the track not even able to hit the nitrous because they couldnt hook. I am not sure if I can bang the gears fast enough either, lol. I know that I am lazy and will probably leave the bottle empty after a couple months of fun....because it will be a pain to go get it filled.
I also know that I planned the engine strong for the n20, and already have all the parts (even the goodies....electric opener, window switch ing. box, bottle heater, purge, gauges, drop down, strobe light, ect)....should I just finish my plans? I can use it to eliminate any flat spots during accelleration and keep the engine temps cool. I just know parts tend to break easier with n20 ( and I dont plan on going 12 bolt yet ) ... and I can save a pretty penny by not getting it installed.
This IS my daily driver.... is it worth it, or no.... I am just looking for opinions. My goal is to have a MEAN sounding car, that drives decent/pretty reliable, that can hang with ALMOST anything on the street/highway.....and will make me proud at the track.
Thanks for the time ---

You have the kit, why not use it? Right now with traction you should run like you said, low 12's or even mid to high 11's. The only problem is the ten bolt. Start saving up for somethig better. Traction is a problem that can be solved. Even after setting up to have good traction and if you still spin a little, you could always delay the nitrous hit for a short time or use a first gear lock out. Or how about a progressive controller? Your on your way to a ten second car, why not finish it up?
