Plumbing Questions

I am going to run a fuel pressure gauge, a hobb's saftey switch, AND the outlet to my fuel solenoid.

I was looking at fuelie distribution blocks but I need to know the fittings.

What is the fitting size of the Hobb's switch? I was thinking of buying a distribution block and using it on the gauge fitting that it has.

After that, the block has two outlets, which I would buy AN fittings for it so it would be Y-d off to go to my fuel pressure safety switch and to my fuelie solenoid.

The last question I have is what is the thread pattern on the Scraeder valve??

Re: Plumbing Questions

The Schrader valve is -4AN male. My suggestion.....

Get an NOS #17535 -4AN 90deg swivel fitting. That goes on the Schrader valve. Get a hose of the required length to run from the NOS fitting to the fuel distribution block. Get it with -4AN female on one end and 1/8" NPT male on the other. NOS makes them in specific lengths, and you can get custom lengths on eBay for about 1/2 of what NOS charges.

Get a 1-in, 3-out fuel distribution block, using 1/8" NPT threads. The fuel pressure gauge sensor and the Hobb's switch will have 1/8" NPT male threads. The third outlet is for the fuel line to your solenoids. You would need a -xAN (size depends on your line to the solenoid) X 1/8" NPT fitting for the line.

The tricky part might be finding a distribution block with 1/8" NPT threads. Most of them are 3/8" NPT. I've found brass "tees" with 1/8" threads.

Looks like the engine is relatively stock. How much nitrous are you planning to spray?
