Mad props on the clean and badass setup! Need specs! How did you get the nozzles to line up so perfectly?

What hood are you using? Looks a little to tall for a stock hood.

how much nitrous are you planing to shot?, it's a progresive? why did you opt for this nitrous system instead the one that have a injector plate so you don't have to drill or plumbing? money?

Re: Pics of the directr port setup

chR15: First off, i really just kinda eyeballed everything and attempted to keep the drill at the same angle when doing all of the work. Didn't come out half bad for the first time doing anything like this.

Black95Form: Hood SHOULD fit fine. I had the whole motor out of the car and just installed the block and heads without the manifold the other day. I test fit the manifold and after adjusting all the solenoids to the side, it left about 1/2" between the solenoids and the area under the windshield.

EVERESTZ28: No progressive setup or anything and planning on shooting 250 eventually, probably not for awhile. From what I read and was told from other people, that plate system wasn't going to spay up to 200.

There is a pic of mine.
A local guy had it on Ebay so that is where the pic came from.
I just bought it off him outright.

Yea, I found that pic somewhere earlier and got an idea from it. Does that fit under the stock hood fine as well?

Re: Pics of the directr port setup

I was concerned about that more than anything.
Its a very compact setup, great tube bending but I have a feeling I will run into some problems with the PCV hookup and any vacuum lines that go into the side of the intake.....not alot of room in there with the noids that tight.

According to my measurements it should fit with a couple inches to spare.

I am still debating on a stand alone fuel system or going with my stock fuel rails and getting my fuel off the schrader valve like your setup.

Yours looks really wild with gentler bends.

Re: Pics of the directr port setup

Thanks I think im going to use the fuel rail temporarily to get the car running and some small shots tuned correctly. I would like to upgrade the fuel system eventually, just doesn't fit into the budget now. Maybe I should have thought about that first?!?! Buah! Who cares, the rail will supply enough fuel for a 150 shot for now.

Good job on the nozzle placement and overall plumbing. It should run good. Rubber fuel line always makes a little leary on a high pressure system though....

Re: Pics of the directr port setup

Thanks Dave. I'll have to look into that, not like it would be expensive to replace. Handful of fittings and a few short lines.
