N20 101

I am thinking about getting a wet nitrous kit, maybe a 75-100 shot... I know nothing about n20 and I have a few questions. What else do I need besides the complete kit. Will I have to keep buying new bottles? How hard is installation? and How bad is it for my lt1 engine? Also What do you guys think about this kit, It seems inexpensive http://www.dynotunenitrous.com/store...?idproduct=110

Re: N20 101

You have to refill the bottles. Costs me 30 bucks for a total refill. It is VERY addicting.
You want a window switch and probably a fuel pressure saftey switch.
Installation is actually pretty easy. Almost fun
Cant comment on that kit since I dont know much about that brand, but so far my NX kit just keeps getting better.
Goodluck !

Is the window switch what I press when I want to relase the n20? And does the brand of kit really matter or are all the nitrous kits simalar?

Re: N20 101

The window switch creates an rpm "window" for activation. It hooks up to an rpm signal and you install specific pills (for msd) that set your N2O activation range. Say you don't want the nitrous to come on before 3000 rpm. You would install a 3000 rpm pill into the first slot. Say you want the nitrous to deactivate before you shift, because your skirt might get in the way (jk) , you might install a 5800 rpm pill in the second slot. This would turn off the system at 5800 rpm and reactivate the system after the rpm dropped below 5800. You would activate the system with a button or WOT switch.

The kit is awesome especially for the price $399! With Dynotune Nitrous you are buying direct from the manufacturer so you save the 20% - 40% markup a distributor would get. Thats really the only way to get a quality kit at a great price. I would agree with the comments and also recommend a FPSS and a MSD Window Switch.

Good Luck!

To late Dean... I already bought your kit. I just hope its not too good to be true. I just have a few question for you. I know this sounds dumb, but does the bottle come filled with nitrous? does your kit come with a wot switch? Is there anything else I NEED with your kit? how important is a bottle warmer... I WANT MY NITROUS

Not too good to be true, you will be pleased when it arrives and you have it installed. Due to shipping regulations all bottles are shipped empty. Yes the kit comes with a WOT switch. I would recommend the safety items as before, the FPSS and a window switch. A bottle warmer is good since you want to keep the pressure around 950 to optimize the system. The installation instuctions have a ton of general info also - if after reading it you still have questions just drop a PM or email to dynotunesales@aol.com!
