Post Mechanical Pressure gauge

Looking at a N2O pressure gauge for my pillar and the electric 2 1/16 is 219!!!!! Now the mechanical is only 76.95. Is a mechanical gauge an all right choice? Advantages? (besides price) Disadvantages?

There are no functional advantages or disadvantages with a mechanical gauge. You are required to use a flow restriction orifice in the connection under the hood, to limit nitrous flow to the passenger compartment in the event of a broken line or gauge, but the fitting is included with the AutoMeter mechanical gauges.

Since you have a TA, consider using the center A/C vents. That would take a 2-5/8" gauge. If you want to stick with the a-pillat mount, use a slightly smaller -3AN line.
