Just how lean (AFR wise) are we talking here? 12:1 afr or leaner on the bottle with a 250+ shot?

Again, a detailed response will follow, but the above has the essence. It all depends on what you mean by "rich" or "lean".

it all depends on where the motor makes peak hp and tq.

Like i said before there is no magic number we have had cars like 11.5 on 250 and 12.0 on 250. you need to read the plug it will tell you what you need to know.
