How to retard timing

I've heard several ways to retard the timing for nitrous...from maf translator plus..to timing tuner...to digital msd. What is the one someone was talking about that u flip a switch and it pulls the timing. Does the digi ignition retard the timing only under nitrous use. You think its safe to run a 175 shot with a 255 lbh pump and 3-4 degrees pulled in a virtually stock shortblock with 4 bolt mains. Or am I flirting with DISASTER

the digital 6 only pulls timing when the nitrous is on,all you have to do is wire up the trigger input to the WOT switch and it will pull what you want.

i sprayed a 175 on a 100%stock longblock with a 255 intank,pulling no more then 4 degree's with TR6 plugs,and 100-104 unleaded,try it on pump gas and you will be asking for a parts collection.
