Hidden N20 Setup
Re: Hidden N20 Setup
I saw this movie once where the guy had a red rx-7 and had the bottles hidden in the seat and beat everyone cuz he had mad skillz. wait, that was the fast and the furious.....
anyways, this is a very interesting thread, lets keep it alive.

true hidden system.....don't pop your hood for anyone.
I'm currently working on a plate system that should be fairly hidden. it'll be obvious to LT1 guys and people looking for a system, but i don't plan on letting to many people get close to my car.
there plenty of other tricks if you're evil and want to cheat in a race.

Re: Hidden N20 Setup
i have pics but i gotta find em and cant because im at work right now but.....
i saw a guy wit a really nice and clean 3rd gen TA that was hella modified, but looked really stock. parts that were shiny were painted flat black or to match factory. the best though, was relocating the battery to the back, and running a hollow one up front with the solenoids in it, and the main lines in disguised as the negative cables, and the positive cables disguised the out puts. very slick

Solenoid wiring is very simple b/c you can use either wire for Power or ground . Just take 1 wire from each splice together and run to ground then take the other from each and run to your power source like WOT switch or window switch output(Whatever is going to turn the solenoids on IE power) not constant power but the power that will be switched on once the n2o is ready to be sprayed. Hopefully this will clear it up for you.

i have my WOT switch under my gas pedal. the noids are mounted at the bottom of radiator and over towards the battery. all the lines and wires are hidden. only the people that i have told i have the bottle on the car have been able to find anything becouse they are looking for it.

I'm using the NX wet kit w/ shark nozzle.
We mounted the kit from under the car, ran the wires through that black plastic wire covering stuff and mounted the bottle in the rear with a nice blanky.
Window switch was mounted behind the knee bolster under the steering wheel and the W.O.T. switch was installed under the gas pedal.
When the system is on, the shifter button that is pressed to change your auto gears manually, functions also as the "go button" but only b/w my pill ranges. I thought this was pretty sneaky.
Solenoids were mounted from beneath as well and bolted to a bracket that somewhat coverd/housed them (though I'm thinking of moving them).
Swtiches were mounted in the ashtray.
