imo you dont want to put the nozzle in the elbow at all. i would put it far upstream.
So mounting a "small bottle" in a plastic nose, spraying the MAF, and have 1000 psi nozzle bang around the CIA that's had its airflow restricted is better?

The same scientists from The Low Budget Environment who brought you the special 4th gen subwoofer box are waiting to present you, the anxious public, Skull-1's hidden nitrous system, for the same reasons. Pay no more than you have to, except for a few odds and ends, and share the knowledge freely. If nothing else, we brings you ideas you can build on.

wtf are you talkign about. bang around? i dont see nozzles bang around when placed in the rubber elbow, i guess you have some reason as to why it would bang around if places somewhere else. as for bottle placement, you can put it anywhere (except the spare tire well) puttign it in the nose is just a place that im pretty sure it wont be found. puttign the nozzle upstream liek i sugested isnt going to restict airflow anymore than having it in the usual spot.

with respect to it beign hidden, yes it will be better. for performance it would be better to put it near the usual location. but doing that will make it very easy to find

but if your makgin a hidden setup you dont want to put the nozzle anywhere around the elbow imo. a line commign from that area is a dead givaway.
its much easier to hide a line that goes to a nozzle that is around the air filter.

LOL... come on guys... all this talk about hiding nitrous... what is the point? As soon as you spray and REAL gear head knows what to look for in the exhaust smoke. Enough said about that... so as far as hiding it... I got mine inbetween the back seats right out in the open. I have more people that do not want to race me just because I got a nice Edelbrock bottle in the back seat...

When there's several franklins on the line, it becomes a point.

On the Mustang I used to have, I had solenoids hidden all over the place. 3 sets total. I put a pair on top that looked pretty and got everyone's attention. Of course, they weren't connected to anything b/c the trash can solenoids were in the fenderwell and the second stage was under the cowl piece. I had no problem disconnecting the solenoids on top of the motor b/c they were nothing but dead weight. All the lines were painted black (in a black engine bay = invisible) and wires were hidden or just ran together w/ the wiring for the dummy solenoids. The key isn't to hide the system, but to make the other guy *think* you're running w/o it, when actually you are. I always ran on the can b/c you never knew if the other guy was being honest either. A wise old man once told me, "If wez payin, I'm sprayin"

color & odor. Plus a motor on the can will sound different than one that's all nuts.

I've noticed on some cars, when they spray, the exhaust makes the road behind the car appear wavy. Sort of like when you look at a really hot road and it looks like there's water on it.

I'm not doing it to fool some poor sap out of money. I've always been about stealth. I don't like to give anyone excuses to say I was in the wrong. I'll never say "no officer, that's not a NOS button in the ashtray or NOS nozzles", or worry about lending Skull-1 to someone, or having some *** at a shop take a joyride, empty bottle or not.

I do, however, like to open the hood and have people say "How the F he DO that?!?!?"
