I'm still working on mine. 100% undetectable using regular NX wet kit parts. I didn't do the "hidden switches in the astray" jive, nor the "hidden in the spare tire" stuff either. As soon as I get my ignition box I might just put pics.

If there is any one interested please send me a pm.

BRUBBLE,
Nice install I see you remove your are temp sending unit on your intake elbow and pluged it with a bolt. Is that because your spraying before it, did you just move it or is that thing really not necessary to have? Becuase I would like to place my nozzle further back from the throttle body.

Dave, I'm curious about the fuel supply part...that's what I usually look for first. Where do you pick it up at?

I have the iat relocated down by the filter. It was that way when I bought the car. It looks like a SLP CAI (but has no Logo) and a harness extender. I'm curious to know if it makes a difference if you spray before or after though I never thought of it? Maybe I'll swap it back and see what happens.

Re: Hidden N20 Setup

idea for a pretty easy hidden system. its not optimal but it will work.
mount a small bottle in the nose of the car. mount solinoids in nose area. put the nozzle in somewhere around the filter on your cai (pick whatever location you want in that area.
it wont be the best due to the nozzle beign far away from the tb but it will be hidden.
dont mount the nozzle where its easy to get to. make it so the only way to see/get to the nozzle is to remove cai or other stuff.
anyone looking for nitrous will probably want to look at everything from teh filter to the intake. make it so if they look under the car at the filter (or whereever you have yours) they cant see it.

as for wiring, thats pretty easy to figure somthign out

You know the stock elbow? Get a 1LE elbow mount the nozzle on the bottom where that air tube thing should be and use your stock plastic duct to hide the N2O lines. Use the black lines and rap the exposed lines with wire lome.(lord knows theres enough of that crap under our cars.)

Here's a stocker for $0.01. See the tube on the bottom on the bottom of the elbow?

you would have to be pretty dumb not to miss that.
imo you dont want to put the nozzle in the elbow at all. i would put it far upstream. if you have any idea what your doing your gonna look around the elbow for lines. and a stock lookign line commgin from the resonator is a obvious givaway.

under the manifold is the best way to go imo. but its alot of $$ comapred to otehr hidden setups.

How do you figure that? If you cover the nozzle and lines with the air tube you won't see it. It all fits in there nicely. You just have to be creative on the fuel tap. But you would have to do that with any set-up. I've seen bottles in glove boxes with the heater box used to cover the noids.

Nothing is truely hidden, if you are looking for it you will find it no matter what.

you will see the lines comming out of the air tube.
hiding a wet ket is a little more work than a dry kit, you need to make a place to get the fuel from.

Re: Hidden N20 Setup

i got a nw plate system. painted the outside of the plate as close as i could get to the intake, actually i had someone else do it b/c i'm colorblind. covered the lines in tubing, mounted the solenoids on the back of the intake, and put the arming switch on a little homemade trigger (no wot switch on the throttle body, b/c i thought it would be a dead give-away).

needless to say, i've fooled probably 3 ppl with that setup. if you are doing the fast and furious thing of looking under each other's hood before a race, then they probably are going to notice the lines, no matter how well you hide them. a while back i was in a car craft garage and i saw another guy with an lt-1 camaro. his camaro said for sale on it and had the hood open. i went over to check it out and i was roughly 10-15 feet away when i noticed a "hidden" nitrous system. even though he said i was the first to notice it, it was still obvious.

Get a copy of 2/2000 "High Performance Pontiac" magazine. It has an article about my totally hidden dry system.

Re: Hidden N20 Setup

I had one mounted in the airbox of my RamAir box back when I first put a dryshot on my stock T/A. I had the lines and wires coming out underneath and the solenoid and nozzle were under the K&N filter in the airbox. Wrorked really well. Later Clint
