Fuel System w/ Wet setup question

Straight to business with an opening thank you for ideas and opinions.

I have a 97 ss the is currently being rebuilt to a 383 stroker (all forged)

basically from reading a lot about n2o and a few of the posts on here; is that fuel is the most important link in running a safe system.

What we are shooting for all motor from the car is ~600hp. We havent done the cam or anything with the fuel system as of yet.

What I have been reading is the stock fuel pump will support up to 600. Im looking at spraying 100 with the TNT wet LT1 kit.

What Im interested in is an in tank fuel pump that will support the system. I found one from racetronix , but am unsure if it will be enough. Is this pump ok? Has anyone seen a better pump? Will stock injectors cut it?

The factory fuel pump will not support 600HP.
Stock injectors will not support 500HP.

A full PnP fuel system with or without booster would be in order.
A set of 42# injectors would probably be required in order to support your HP level and keeping the DC at or below 80%.

You would be best to call Thunder Racing, More Performance or Lonnies listed on our web page as it would appear that you require a great amount of good solid professional advice in dealing with your fuel requirements.

im guessing since you posted the same link as i did that you think that fuel pump would work well?

I had a feeling on the injectors.

Thx

Buy a 255 intank pump and a booster/inline pump and some 42lbs injectors. You will be good to to 550.

Are you guys referring to RWHP for at the fly? 550 at the fly is much different that 550 at the wheels.

In that case, here's a Fuel Injector Calculator that should help you get in the target range. It will provide good data to figure out the proper sized injectors that will be needed. Also, I'd confirm with Racetronix (mentioned above) the max HP the Walbro 255 will throw.
