Fuel Problems....HELP!!
I put a NOS fuel pump on my car yesterday....It was running fine before with a stock pump and a 7psi pump from O'Reillys....now the car falls on its face when I spray it with a 250 shot(not detonating) It hits hard, then jerks really bad and wont rev much higher after that..WTF?? too much fuel pressure?? I have it set at 42psi now....could the stock pump be holding it back(can't keep up)when I change the jets to a 200 shot or so, it runs better, but isn't very as smooth after 4,000 RPM's or so...

How did you change the fuel jet(s) to accomodate the increase in fuel pressure (I'm assuming you were running your wet fuel system at 7psi, and substituted the high pressure pump)?

changed jets back to a 150 shot yesterday....still same problem, but worse....car basically kills itself when i hit the button. WTF?? what jet size should I run on the fuel side, I really don't want to play the guessing game here. NOS said I could drop my fuel pressure or put another regulator on WTF?? that doesn't make any sense on a fuel injected car..

Check your selonoids to see if both are working properly, check your fogger nozzle and jets, are both selonoids hooked to your fp safety switch or only the nitrous selonoid? Did you hook your vacuum hose back up to your fp regulator? Sounds like its getting to much fuel. If nothing else try removing the new pump to see if it makes any difference.

No, I wasn't referring to you Bryan Taylor, I was talking to Bryan Campbell (lt1lt1) He lives in this ****hole town in Wyoming with me....He has a slow 93 T/A with a few bolt ons.
And no I'm not getting whooped up on, I got beat once b/c my N2O solenoid quit working and I sprayed straight fuel and bogged the car down, but I fixed it now.
Also, I need some cheap 10's, mine suck bad....can you hook somthing up?? I'm coming back into town this Saturday, I'll stop by your house.
