fuel pressure safety switch

At what pressure does the this safety switch break its contacts. I got one from work but I think it breaks its contacts at around 5-10 PSI. Is this too low to use as a fuel pressure safety switch?

If you are trying to use it on an LT1, yes, it is too low.

You need around 38-42 psi range.

I wish. The one I have is for an LAV and its uses oil pressure to make and break the switch.
