Few questions i want to double check before installing my N20!!

ok so far i just purchased a FPSS, compucar n20 kit with WOT switch..

next i need 2 guages, Fuel and N20
then i need a guage pillar pod..
then i need my safety switch
NGK's T-R6's

should i upgrade my coil to a MSD blaster coil?
and should i go ahead and get a MSD ignition box 6A/CAL or something?

i dont think ill have the money for that but if i do go ahead and purchase that, plus could i live without it?

also is it recommended to get a purge kit for my n20 kit?

now the last question that concerns me is that on my safety switch, im prob going to program the kit to engage at WOT at around 2900-3200 and shut off around 5800-6000 rpms!!

let me know if that is a good RPM range for my A4 LT1!!??

my rev limiter is set at 7k and can be dropped if needed..
look in sig for mods!! i think my tranny will have no problem with my 100 shot!!

U can live without the ignition box for now. I have heard that the MSD blaster coils tend to be hard on opti's so be careful with that. A nitrous purge kit is not neccesary, it just takes the extra air out of the lines and makes more of a pure nitrous shot for when u spray, it basically just makes sure u get the most out of your shot, but like i said its not neccesary. U should be fine as far as shutting it off at 6k is concerned as long as your rev limiter is past that.

As a big safety feature I would suggest the Mallory 685 ignition box because it has a timing retard, window switch and rev limiter, which I think that are nessacery as far as a safety stand point is concerned, and its only 219.99 at summit and worth every penny.

Yes it does have a built in rev limiter and the window switch is what turns the nitrous on and off at a certaint RPM.

exactly, this is a must for some one running N20 or boost since it has a map sensor option for boost retard too! this is hands down the best ign box for the buck.

It looks like you're on the right track to getting your nitrous system installed safely, but definitely go with a window switch. All it takes is to hit the rev-limiter one time on the spray, and things go bad. Some things you should consider for the future are definitely a bottle heater, and a purge. No nitrous system is complete with a bottle heater. You'll find out that 700psi runs compared to 950psi runs just suck.... Keeping your bottle at constant optimum pressure is extremely important to get the most performance out of your nitrous system. The purge kit will also add to increased performance. On my system I run a -6an line, and if I don't purge it before runnin, the car falls on it's face. This isn't as noticable on a -4an steel braided line, but the condition still exists.

Keep us posted on your install progress, and let us know how your car runs when you are done! I'm sure you'll be addicted to the squeeze after that first shot... I was. lol...
