A/F question while spraying my car....

So I finally got the car on the dyno today but only made 2 NOS runs. I'm running the 5176 dry kit on the 150 shot. I was shocked at the results. It went from 324rwhp to 476rwhp (talk about close on the advertised hp) and from 332rwtq to a wopping 588rwtq. I can't believe how much torque this S*** makes! My stock 80K clutch is bound to be a gonner for sure with a set of slicks. Anyway, my question is about my A/F ratio. We ran it on the dyno from about 3500rpm to just over 6000rpm. The first couple of hundred rpm, A/F ran about 14.8 and then immediatly started coming down and continued down throughout the run and ended up at about 11.5 at 6000rpm. Thats running the 67NOS/59fuel jets. I swapped in a 47 on the fuel side and the inital lean spot stayed in the high 3000rpm range, leaned out in the middle for a little bit, and then richened up at the top end. Just wondering if theres anyway way to flatten out my A/F curve and lose that lean spot when I first spray. I've read about the shim in the regulator. I'm not running it. Do I need it and would not running it cause this problem? Just looking for suggestions. I think I can get a little more out of it if I can smooth out the A/F a bit. By the way, I started by taking out 5deg of timing in my program from 3200rpm on and when that lean spot hits, it pulls another 3 to 8deg out on top of that looking at my scans of the runs. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
