im ready to juice my motor, i put a larger fuel pump, injectors, MSD, a beefed up tranny, and i have plugs and wires to put in. My mechanic is telling me to stay with NOS and also stay with a wet kit. AS i read the searched forums, i belive NOS is a dry kit.

I have 2 questions:

1) Which brand, im thinking of going with NX because thats what the majority is having luck with. I wanna go mainly with a 50 or 75 shot, maybe 100 at the track.

2) I have an MSD 6AL, is there any type of plug in Timing Retard controller that will adapt (yeah i know i should of got the 6 BTM)

NOS kit 5177 ( i think that's the part number) is a dry kit made specially for the LT1's

I've used the NX GM universal kit, which is what a lot of people on here run

Yes, MSD does make a timing retard box, try summit.
