Is this a decent bottle bracket that I made??

honest opinions, is this thing something I should be embarrassed about showing people?? Would it look better powdercoated red??

It looks pretty good to me. I bet it would look better red or gray like the interior. I think the red would do it justice .

It appears the brackets are welded to the box, but how is the box secured to the car?

I welded the brackets that came with the kit to the sheetmetal I bent....its held to the car by the bolts that hold the seat belts in place. I can't move it, its pretty solid.

Not bad, but I'd cover the base of it with carpet to match the carpet in the car.

Ditto Curt. I'd want to focus on taking attn AWAY from it rather than bringing attn TOO is by painting it. It doesn't look bad now. It would look better carpeted. It would look worse painted red.

Just my opinion. Feels good to build your own parts, huh?

nice and clean makes you feel all creative doesnt it? i love doing stuff like that on my own instead of buying it makes me feel like i accoplished something.
