Braided line sizes

I'm putting together an NX wet system and need to know the preferred braided line sizes from the bottle to the 'noids, from 'noids to fuel, etc. I see numbers like -6, -4, etc and am not sure what they mean. Also, what about the reinforced rubber hoses? Thanks for any advice!

most retail kits come with a -4 line from the bottle to the solenoid. the bigger kits use -6 or bigger, mostly race systems.

Most retail kits also come with -3 lines from the noids to the nozzles, but since you are going from scratch, you can go with -4.

As far as the rubber hoses,NX is the only company i have seen selling those, labeled as race hose.

Thanks for your response. I'll stick mostly w/ -4 lines.

-3, -4 or 3AN and 4AN are special threads, AN stands for Army & Navy. These are increments of 1/16", so 3AN is 3/16" and 4AN is 1/4 and so on.
If you use 4AN for the lines to the nozzle, make sure that the fitting at the nozzle is 4AN.
