You can do a search here on the board on the ZEX kit. I have seen a few people use it but I'm not sure of their results??

A decent direct port system would be in the $1,500-2,000 range. You really don't need it unless you are planning on running a 300+hp shot. You better have one hella strong motor and drivetrain if that's your plan!

oh never mind!!! thanks Rich. i plan on maybe running a 150 at the BIGGEST. ok one last question--- do any of ya'll use the holly throttle body with the nozzle port pre drilled? that looks to me like it would be a little better than putting it in the rubber boot, but maybe its just gimmick i dont know thanks a lot guys youve already been a huge help.a nitrous kit might not be the most expensive thing i do to my car but i still dont want to mess it up and now i dont think i will.

I will say one thing I have used NX and I have used NOS. In the long run I was making more power with NOS. But then again I figure most people on this board are propably only shooting 100 to 175hp. Walk thru the pits at the next NMCA/NSCA race and just look at what the top racer's are running. I know of a few guy's that where sponsored by NX and ended up going back to NOS. Primarily because power fell off when they went to NX.

Makes no differences to me regarding what company to run there nozzles and solenoid design, I just want the company that will make the most power with the least amount time spent to find the tuneup that makes power.

I made more power with NOS but then again I spray big. If you want to run with the blown/turbo cars and win you have to spray big!

Just my two cent's,
Jim

LOL !! Im glad to see someone else come to their senses and not use a product JUST because everyone else says they liked it. Yet they never tried NOS brand.

I use NOS and will always use NOS brand

best nos kit

well since every body is voting for nx, does nx kit come with a inline fuel pump?? i heard that you could mess up your engine without one? i know that the 5176 nos kit come with a fuel pump thats why i would go with the nos kit to be on the safe side! i think im right

A fuel pump is not needed, but its an extra insurance. Some say not to get one, but i say it cant hurt.

ill chime in here...i am debating the same thing and am leaning towards the NX wet kit. is a wet kit "safer" and more effective on LT1 engines compared to a dry kit? i was thinking NX wet kit 100 shot w/ all the safety stuff and maybe have it installed by NEDyno or i could try it w/ my friend and his father who r both very good w/ cars....

just my $.02

The wet kit is safer. I am spraying the 175 jets with out a fuel pump. If you try that with a dry kit all it takes is one bad injector. Of course it is recommended to upgrade the fuel pump but if you are like me and the only way your wife will let you buy stuff is if the car is broken then you live closer to the edge, hoping....

I know its off the subject but sniffin what clutch do you have? I am trying to spray right off the line and need a new clutch. Did you have problems with the spec?
